Ditmar School Restroom Modernization

Completed August 2003 Boys and girls restrooms built in 1949 and 1953 and staff restrooms built in 1967 were totally renovated.  Funded by Proposition G.

Oceanside High School Multipurpose/Kitchen/Food Court Modernization

Completed January 2003 Aging dining and kitchen facilities built in 1956 were modernized and upgraded.  Funded by Proposition G.

Laurel Elementary School Campus Modernization

Completed January 2003 Aging classroom buildings built in the 1940’s and 1950’s housing 18 classrooms, library, multi-purpose room, and kitchen were modernized.  Funded by Proposition G.

Oceanside High School New Science and Technology Building

December 1, 2002

Completed December 2002 The new three-story Science and Technology building houses 30 classrooms and labs, four study rooms, a rooftop astronomy viewing deck and two greenhouses.  Funded by Proposition G.

El Camino High School Stair and Ramp Modernization (ADA)

August 26, 2002

Completed August 2002 New stairs and ramps were installed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility requirements. Funded by Proposition G

Nichols Elementary School New Construction

August 1, 2002

Completed August 2002 Nichols Elementary School is a new 34-classroom school that includes administration, library, multi-purpose, kitchen and food court areas. The site also includes a play area with soccer and baseball fields, and hard courts for basketball, volleyball and tetherball.  Funded by Proposition G.

South Oceanside Elementary School Restroom Modernization

Completed August 2002 Aging facilities including classroom buildings built in 1937, 1939, and 1970, housing 21 classrooms, were modernized providing students with an up-to-date learning environment.  Funded by Proposition G.

Completed January 2002 Aging facilities including classroom buildings built in 1954, 1955, and 1959, housing 18 classrooms, the school library (1955) and the administration building (1956) were completely renovated.  Funded by Proposition G.
